Hinge-Tite® Raised

Hinge-Tite® Raised

The demise of specific standards means that many woodscrews no longer fit hinges correctly.  This leads to heads sat proud and uneven, a poor fix into architecture or even worse with a damaged recess where you can’t get the screw back out.   When fitting expensive doors with quality hinges, you need a screw that won’t let you down.

That’s where Hinge-Tite® comes in. The Tri-lock TS threadform features both a single and a twin thread in one to give a fast, balanced and straight start and this teamed with a redesigned under head feature ensures a perfect, flush finish.  The screws are hardened to prevent snapping but further meaning that in the majority of applications there’s no need to pilot.

TOP QUALITY SCREWS TO FINISH HIGH QUALITY HINGES
Perfectly compliments brass and chrome finishes.

SITS FLUSH WITH HINGE, NO RECESS DAMAGE
With no underhead ribs, the head sits flush with the surface of the hinge, whilst the deep PZ recess prevents cam-out & permanent recess damage.

CPT HARDENED – STRAIGHT INTO THE FRAME WITHOUT THE NEED TO PILOT
Balancing core ductility with surface toughness, the screws should not snap on insertion & even in hardwoods, there’s no need to pilot.

CLAMPS TIGHTLY IN PLACE, FULL TRI-LOCK™️ THREAD
The screw features a full, coarse thread to the head to swiftly secure the hinge in place.

2 THREADS, 1 SCREW – TS THREAD SYSTEM
1. TWIN THREAD TIP penetrates surface with two points of pick up for an immediate & balanced start.
2. SINGLE COARSE THREAD eliminates reaming of the material & offers a secure fix with high pull out retention.
